Dameron-Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist in dispensing medications and preparing unit dose cassettes under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. The role involves delivering doses to nursing units and supporting daily pharmacy operations.

The ideal candidate holds a High School Diploma or GED, with a preference for an Associate degree or technical certification. Registration with the State Board of Pharmacy is required, and certification is preferred.

Formación

• Pharmacy technicians must be registered and qualified.
• Pharmacy Technician Registration with the State Board of Pharmacy is required.
• Pharmaceutical Technician Board certification is preferred.
• Minimum education is High School Diploma or GED; Associate/Technical degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Fills and delivers unit dose cassettes from patients' profiles to nursing units under pharmacist supervision.
• Assists pharmacists with dispensing and packaging tasks as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY:Performs packaging, manipulative, repetitive, or other nondiscretionary tasks related to the furnishing of drugs, whileassisting and under the direct supervision and control of a pharmacist. Fills and delivers the unit dose cassettes from thepatients' profile to nursing units.Details: FTE: 0.3 (10 Hour Shifts) Variable (Day/PM)Variable Shift. Days and Swing Shift (No Overnight).2-4 days per month availabilityDays worked would also include weekends.Education:Minimum Education High School Education/GED or equivalent: PreferredAssociates / Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: PreferredRequired Licenses:Pharmacy Technician Registration with the State Board of Pharmacy: Required (except Hawaii)Pharmaceutical Technician Board certification: Preferred.Other Refer to the Required Licenses and Certifications list for additional job and/or unit specific requirements.
