Job summary

Dameron-Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist in dispensing medications and preparing unit dose cassettes under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. The role involves delivering doses to nursing units and supporting daily pharmacy operations.

The ideal candidate holds a High School Diploma or GED, with a preference for an Associate degree or technical certification. Registration with the State Board of Pharmacy is required, and certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician Registration with the State Board of Pharmacy is required.
• Pharmaceutical Technician Board certification is preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY:Performs packaging, manipulative, repetitive, or other nondiscretionary tasks related to the furnishing of drugs, whileassisting and under the direct supervision and control of a pharmacist. Fills and delivers the unit dose cassettes from thepatients' profile to nursing units.Details: FTE: 0.3 (10 Hour Shifts) Variable (Day/PM)Variable Shift.
