Job summary

Windsor Healthcare Recruitment Group, Inc. seeks a Pharmacy Technician in California to assist pharmacists by performing nondiscretionary tasks and packing unit-dose cassettes for delivery to nursing units.

The position favors hospital experience, a California or Oregon Pharmacy Technician license, and optional board certification. Shifts are 4 x 10s with start times at 6:00, 8:30 and 10:30.

Epic Experience is preferred, and a High School Diploma or GED is required or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High School Education or GED preferred.
• Associate’s/Technical Degree preferred.
• State Pharmacy Technician license required in CA or OR.
• Pharmaceutical Technician Board certification preferred.
• Epic software experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs packaging, manipulative, repetitive, or other nondiscretionary tasks related to the furnishing of drugs under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Fills and delivers the unit dose cassettes from the patient’s profile to nursing units.
