Job summary

American Advanced Management seeks a Pharmacy Technician for per diem coverage in Stockton, CA. You will perform packaging and unit-dose cassette preparation under pharmacist supervision, delivering to nursing units. The role is 0.3 FTE with 10-hour shifts, daytime or PM, 2–4 days/month, including weekends.

Required is Pharmacy Technician Registration with the State Board of Pharmacy. A high school diploma or GED is required, and an Associate/Technical degree is preferred. No overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED required or equivalent (preferred).
• Associates or technical degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience (preferred).
• Pharmacy Technician Registration with the State Board of Pharmacy required (except Hawaii).
• Pharmaceutical Technician Board certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform packaging, manipulative, repetitive, or other nondiscretionary tasks related to furnishing drugs under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Fill and deliver unit dose cassettes from patients' profiles to nursing units.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs packaging, manipulative, repetitive, or other nondiscretionary tasks related to the furnishing of drugs, while assisting and under the direct supervision and control of a pharmacist. Fills and delivers the unit dose cassettes from the patients' profile to nursing units.

Details: FTE: 0.3 (10 Hour Shifts) Variable (Day/PM)

Variable Shift. Days and Swing Shift (No Overnight).

2-4 days per month availability

Days worked would also include weekends.

Qualifications

• Education:
  • Minimum Education High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
  • Associates / Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
• Required Licenses:
  • Pharmacy Technician Registration with the State Board of Pharmacy: Required (except Hawaii)
  • Pharmaceutical Technician Board certification: Preferred.
