Qualifications

• Prefer good math skills for counting, measuring and weighing medications.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• Prefer PTCB or ExCPT certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and pharmacy duties.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems and process prescriptions.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring medications and verify accuracy.
• Check for possible interactions and ensure correct medicine.
• Assist with inventory management and store ordering.
• Support cash handling and point-of-sale activities at the register.
• Provide customer service and resolve issues to deliver a distinctive Walgreens experience.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers and clinics as needed.
