Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for counting, measuring and weighing medications.
• Good computer skills preferred.
• Knowledge of store inventory control preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and engage to assist with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Register sales on assigned cash register and provide courteous, fair, friendly checkout service.
• Assist pharmacist under supervision in dispensing duties and use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions.
• Maintain clean, well-merchandised counters and shelves; check in and price merchandise.
• Support Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist with inventory and workflow.
• Handle pharmacy-related clerical duties and claims processing as needed.
• Ensure compliance with policies, particularly Good Faith Dispensing and Pharmacy Code of Conduct.
• Assist with maintenance of pharmacy operations and customer service in the photo and web-pickup areas.
