Job summary

Ultipro in Vernal, Utah is seeking a part-time on-site Pharmacy Technologist to assist the Pharmacist by filing prescriptions, entering patient data, and helping manage inventory. You will administer vaccines, assist at the register, maintain a clean, orderly pharmacy, and deliver friendly customer service in line with Healing Model.

The role requires strict HIPAA compliance, attentiveness, and teamwork with store staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care and pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• Assists the pharmacist by filing prescriptions and loading medications.
• Enters patient demographics and insurance data into the system.
• Maintains pharmacy and OTC inventory and assists with vaccines.
• Provides courteous customer service and processes register transactions.

Responsibilities

• Patient data management: Enters and updates patient demographic and insurance data.
• Prescription processing: Assists pharmacist in filling prescriptions and labeling.
• Dosage calculations and safety: Performs dosage calculations and flags discrepancies.
• Pharmaceutical care support: Collaborates to provide medication information and services.
• Customer transactions: Processes payments securely at the register.
• Inventory and supply management: Receives, stores, and reorders medications.
• Pharmacy maintenance: Keeps a clean, compliant pharmacy environment.
• Customer service and communication: Handles calls and guides customers.
• Additional duties: Performs other pharmacy-related tasks as needed.
