Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in dispensing medications and delivering health and wellness services in a customer-focused environment. You will assist with reception, data entry, adjudication, and ensure accurate pricing and record-keeping, while maintaining confidentiality and complying with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in duties and responsibilities as allowed.
• Provide a stellar customer experience with accurate data entry, adjudication, and dispensing.
• Support clerks/technicians through coaching and training.
• Compound medications in compliance with state regulations.
• Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription information.
• Support non-dispensing services via various platforms and applications.
• Conduct CLIA-waived screenings in line with regulations.
• Provide health and wellness services as permitted by regulators.
• Adhere to sanitation and safety regulations and report unsafe conditions.
• Report illegal activity per local, state and federal laws.
