Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Pharmacy Clerk to provide excellent customer service, assist pharmacists, and manage daily store operations in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.

Responsibilities include handling cash transactions, data entry, and inventory tasks, while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues in a fast-paced retail pharmacy setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Meets minimum state requirements to perform the functions related to the position.

Responsibilities

• Comply with local, state and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraud.
• Comply with and reinforce all food safety, sanitation and safety regulations and programs; identify unsafe conditions and notify store management.
• Maintain departmental standards including keeping clean and organized work stations and customer waiting areas.
• Provide a stellar customer experience while accurately and efficiently completing all steps of reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
• Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those that require a pharmacist’s professional judgement.
• Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations and the company’s policies.
