Walgreens in Chicago seeks a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist in dispensing, customer service, and operating the pharmacy cash registers.

You will use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug data, fill prescriptions, and support inventory. A strong candidate will have PTCB, 1 year of retail/hospital experience, fluency in English, and be willing to obtain immunization certification.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (where applicable).

Responsabilités

• Assist pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy under supervision and in accordance with policy.
• Operate pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Coach pharmacy technicians and cashiers to drive efficiency and accuracy.
• Resolve customer issues and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Assist with inventory management and Rx KPI reviews.
• Adhere to Good Faith Dispensing and Pharmacy Code of Conduct.
