Job summary

Pima Medical Institute in Colorado Springs seeks a Pharmacy Technician Lead Instructor (Part-Time) to lead the Pharmacy Technician Certificate Program on-site.

This role blends teaching, program leadership, faculty support, and externship coordination to ensure students receive an industry-aligned education and maintain program integrity.

You will design lessons, evaluate students, assist with accreditation, and collaborate with campus leadership to drive program effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from USDE/CHEA-accredited institution.
• ASHP/ACPE-accredited pharmacy technician program or equivalent.
• Five years of pharmacy tech experience.
• Member of at least one national and one state pharmacy organization.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum oversight to ensure proper implementation of the Pharmacy Technician curriculum.
• Accreditation support and documentation with campus leadership.
• Program review and updates to textbooks and materials.
• Externship coordination and student supervision with Career Services.
• Faculty mentorship and onboarding of new hires.
