Job summary

Piedmont Newnan Hospital in Newnan, GA is seeking a Pharmacy Tech IV for PRN coverage. You will handle admixtures of medications to IV solutions, and prepare unit dose syringes and chemotherapy medications for the critical care and OR satellite areas, while maintaining stock and following SOPs.

You will work with pharmacy and technical staff to define and document business rules and best practice, performing duties of a Pharmacy Technician as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Previous pharmacy technician experience with IV admixtures preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• PHRMTECH-R - Registered Pharmacy Technician Current registration with the state Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician Upon Hire Required
• PTCB Certification Preferred
