Allegheny Health Network in Pennsylvania is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to process orders, manage inventory, and assist patients at the point of sale and service. This role supports both outpatient and inpatient activities, including IV admixtures and chemotherapy preparation.

The candidate should have a pharmacy technician training program or equivalent experience, PA registration before start, and a CPhT or ExCPT certification preferred. A sign-on bonus is available for a 1-year commitment.

Competenze

• Completion of a pharmacy technician training program or 1 year equivalent experience. When hired, registration as Pharmacy Technician Trainee or Pharmacy Technician is required.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) or ExCPT from NHA is preferred.

Mansioni

• Processes medication orders including computer order entry and preparation.
• Maintains pharmacy inventory and supplies per policies.
• Provides customer service by taking prescriptions and documenting information; releases medications per policy.
• Outpatient: validates insurance and adjudication; handles cash and deposits. Inpatient: compounds, stocks, repackages, batches medications, prepares IV admixtures and chemotherapy.
• Other duties as assigned or requested.
