Job summary

Kettering Health Network is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our Miamisburg location on a full-time day shift. You will assist the pharmacist with prescription filling, maintain inventory, and provide support to patients and providers in person and by phone.

Ideal candidates hold a High School diploma or GED and are Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technicians with at least 2 years of retail experience, plus strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician credential required.
• Minimum 2 years retail pharmacy technician experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacist in total prescription filling process; data entry, inventory monitoring, counting, labeling, ordering, stocking, filing, and selling of prescribed and OTC products.
• OTC merchandising.
• Help health care providers and patients in person and by phone; answers questions and requests; referring to pharmacist when appropriate.
• Comply with state and federal drug laws, KHN policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
