Ward Road Pharmacy in Arvada, CO is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II to assist pharmacists with medication preparation, labeling, and packaging in a fast-paced long-term care setting.

You will enter prescriptions into pharmacy software, manage inventory, handle returns, and support delivery processes while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Full-time schedule with a Monday–Friday shift, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, offering competitive pay and a robust benefits package through MGA Homecare.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Colorado.
• Ability to maintain continued Pharmacy Technician licensure.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn pharmacy software systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, filling, labeling, and packaging.
• Enter prescription and patient information into pharmacy software systems.
• Prepare and package medications for delivery to long-term care facilities.
• Support unit-dose, blister pack, and automated dispensing processes.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation per pharmacy regulations.
• Receive, stock, rotate, and organize medication inventory and supplies.
• Process medication returns, credits, and expired medications according to policy.
• Answer incoming calls and provide basic customer service support to facilities, nurses, and internal staff.
• Assist with order prioritization to meet scheduled delivery deadlines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of pharmacy work areas.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and protect patient confidentiality at all times.
