Job summary

Cook Children's in Prosper, TX is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II to support pharmacists in providing professional services to patients and staff at the Medical Center-Prosper.

You will assist with clerical duties, central PO processing, Omnicell tasks, and sterile/IV preparation as trained, under supervision. A year of CCMC pharmacy experience or IV prep is required, with a CPhT or enrollment in ACPE school and Texas registration preferred.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent is required.
• Must have worked a minimum of 1 year in CCMC pharmacy or IV preparation experience.
• Basic knowledge of math, metric system, pharmaceutical chemistry, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacist in providing professional pharmacy services to patients and staff.
• Perform clerical tasks including answering phones, recording, filing, and reporting pharmacy activities.
• Operate under supervision of an experienced pharmacist in areas such as Central PO, Omnicell processing, sterile preparation, and compliance audits.
