UC San Diego Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II/III-Per Diem for the Moores Cancer Center infusion pharmacy. The role supports pharmacist duties in preparing chemotherapy and IV medications, with responsibilities including Pyxis distribution, inventory control, and compliance with USP 797/800.
Candidate must hold CA pharmacy license and CPhT certification (Tech III). Infusion/sterile compounding experience is strongly preferred, with flexible hours across days and evenings.

Under general supervision, will perform a full range of duties in the Moores Cancer Center and the Koman Outpatient Pavillion pharmacy setting. Assists the pharmacist in the preparation of medications (including antineoplastics/chemotherapy) for patient use for IV sterile compounding preparation & administration in accordance to established procedures under USP 797/800, assist in the distributions of medications via Pyxis Med Station A Stations; maintains skills applicable to all information systems within the pharmacy, maintain inventory levels; and perform other duties as assigned. Will perform assigned operational duties in a scheduled area and will assist pharmacists in completing medication orders and related distribution duties in the assigned area.
Depending on experience of the selected candidate, this position will be hired at the Per Diem Pharm Tech II or Pharm Tech III.

Annual Full Pay Range: $75,356 - $75,356 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
