• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of hospital experience preferred.
• Completion of a pharmacy technician training program is preferred.
• Requires knowledge of pharmacy work routines, procedures, materials, terminology, and medication names.
• Current registration with the Maryland State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certified required.

Responsabilidades

• The Pharmacy Technicians are responsible for a variety of duties to assist in the preparation and packaging of medications, distribution and delivery of medications, supporting the maintenance of proper inventory levels, and keeping appropriate records and documentation.
