Job summary

Freeman Health System is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for its inpatient pharmacy. You will support delivery of medications to patient care areas and assist with dispensing and inventory functions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include profiling orders, maintaining pharmacy equipment, and performing clerical duties as required. Candidates must have PTCB or ExCPT certification and Missouri licensure or intern license, plus a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Qualifications

• PTCB national certification or ExCPT required.
• Missouri Board of Pharmacy license or Missouri Intern License required.

What You'll Do

Responds to the needs of the department, nursing and physician staff and patients. Ensures delivery and availability of medications to patient care areas, profiles patient's orders and performs necessary pharmacy module functions, monitors functionality of pharmacy equipment and performs necessary routine maintenance, assists in inventory management and performs clerical duties as required.

Requirements:

• Current Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) national certification or Exam for Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT).
• Registration with valid licensure as a Pharmacy Technician with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy or current Missouri Pharmacy Intern License.
• Valid driver's license
• Clean Driving Record
