Job summary

Kettering Health Main Campus in Ohio is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the team. You will assist the pharmacist in the prescription filling process, perform data entry, inventory monitoring, labeling, stocking, and OTC sales, and support health care providers and patients both in person and by phone.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, national certification, and at least two years of retail pharmacy technician experience, plus strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician certification required.
• 2 years of retail pharmacy technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacist in total prescription filling process; data entry, inventory monitoring, counting, labeling, ordering, stocking, filing, and selling of prescribed and OTC products.
• OTC merchandising.
• Help health care providers and patients in person and by phone; answers questions and requests; referring to pharmacist when appropriate.
• Comply with state and federal drug laws, KHN policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned
