Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pharmacy technician certification or equivalent experience required by start date.

Responsibilities

• Process medication orders including entry, preparation and assembly prior to pharmacist check.
• Maintain inventory and supplies per policy; inspect areas and use pharmacy systems.
• Provide customer service by receiving prescriptions and documenting information.
• For outpatient: validate insurance coverage and handle cash/deposits.
• For inpatient: prepare IV admixtures, stock, and batch from bulk meds.
• Operate central fill equipment safely (forklifts, order pickers, etc.).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) or ExCPT (NHA) completion of a pharmacy technician training program or 1 year equivalent experience
