St. Anthony North Hospital in Thornton, CO is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II Certified to support daily pharmacy operations under supervision of a pharmacist.

You will prepare and dispense medications, compound IV solutions, manage inventory, and handle charging and crediting for drug distribution. You will maintain a clean, safe environment, follow aseptic techniques, comply with The Joint Commission and state regulations, and participate in staff meetings and ongoing education to stay

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of IV medication compounding experience.
• Active state Pharmacy Tech registration.
• Active CPT-EXCPT, CPT-PTCB or CPHT certification in good standing.

Responsabilités

• Prepares, distributes, and delivers medications per policy and regulatory requirements.
• Performs clerical tasks supporting daily department operations.
• Maintains proper medication and supply stock levels and operates automated delivery systems.
• Participates in department quality assurance programs and documentation.
• Trained and certified in IV admixture preparation and handling of hazardous/chemotherapy medications.

Formation

High School Diploma/G.E.D.

6 months compounding of IV medication

Registered Pharmacy Tech in the state

Active CPT-EXCPT or CPT-PTCB or CPHT certification
