Blessing Health System in Missouri is seeking a Pharmacy Tech I or II to assist the pharmacist in preparing dosage forms and maintaining patient records. JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for assisting the pharmacist in preparing all pharmaceutical dosage forms, except those prepared by the IV Trained technician and those dosages requiring the specialized skills of the pharmacist. The position prepares dosage forms and prescriptions to the point of "final check" approval by the pharmacist and prepares patient medication safely and effectively in addition to maintaining the drug inventory and patient records; under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. All duties are carried out only by a registered pharmacist. This position is responsible for distributing medications throughout the organization.
