Job summary
A Pharmacy Technician licensed to practice as a Pharmacy Technician and registered with the State Board of Pharmacy in Arkansas is sought to join BHMC-Little Rock. This technician will assist the Pharmacist in medication distribution functions, IV compounding, and other duties to enhance hospital-wide patient care.
The role requires an Arkansas license, PTCB certification (preferred), and either experience as a Pharmacy Technician I or graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician Program to
Qualifications
- Must have a Pharmacy Technician License with State Board of Pharmacy in Arkansas (in good standing).
- PTCB certification (Preferred).
- Pharmacy technician work experience within the past year or a graduate of an accredited Pharmacy Technician Program.
- Able to meet or exceed all performance standards of a Pharmacy Technician I.
Responsibilities
- Assist Pharmacist in medication distribution functions and IV compounding.
- Perform duties to enhance hospital-wide patient care and support pharmaceutical operations.
