Job summary

John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Indio, CA is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician to support drug distribution and IV admixture under pharmacist supervision.

The role requires a High School Diploma, California CPhT registration, and preferred hospital pharmacy experience. Strong knowledge of drug names, pharmacy math, sterile technique, and excellent English communication are essential.

Works under the direct supervision of the pharmacist at all times. Responsible for drug distribution and intravenous admixture throughout the hospital.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School Graduate
2. Current registration with the California Board of Pharmacy as a Technician.
3. Preference given for one year experience in a hospital pharmacy, including unit dose, drug distribution and intravenous admixture.
4. Requires knowledge of drug names, pharmacy math and sterile technique.
5. Requires good English communication skills.
