Job summary
Southcoast Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. The role supports pharmacists in dispensing and compounding, ensuring accuracy, safety, and high-quality patient care in a busy hospital pharmacy.
Hours are 40 per week with day/evening shifts and weekend/holiday rotation. Qualified candidates must have MA state tech registration, nationally certified (CPhT or ExCPT), and at least 1 year of related experience; vaccination requirements apply.
Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent required.
- Massachusetts state registration as a Pharmacy Technician required.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT or ExCPT) required within 18 months of hire.
- One year of related work experience required; three years preferred.
- Fully vaccinated against influenza and COVID-19 or compliant with exemption policy.
Responsibilities
- Under the direction of a Pharmacist, performs pharmacy-related functions in compliance with department policies to provide optimal pharmaceutical care.

- Massachusetts state registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required.

- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to exempt from vaccination once hired

Every third weekend, holiday rotation per department needs
