Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking a Medication History Technician for the Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. The role involves supporting pharmacists by performing pharmacy-related tasks to ensure accurate medication histories and optimal patient care.

Requirements include MA state registration as a Pharmacy Technician, a national certification (CPhT or ExCPT), and a High School diploma. Vaccination against influenza and COVID-19 or approved exemptions are required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or the equivalent is required.
• Additional clinical course work or training is preferred.
• Massachusetts state registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
• One year of related work experience is required; three years is preferred.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT or ExCPT) is required.
• Vaccination against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or an approved exemption is required.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Pharmacist, the Medication History Tech performs pharmacy-related functions, in compliance with department policies and procedures that provide optimal pharmaceutical care.

Education

We are searching for a talented Medication History Tech

Hours: 40hrs

Shift: Evening shift, Primarily 3:30pm - 12:00am, sometimes 11:00am - 7:30pm with weekend and holiday rotation

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $19.18 - USD $28.82 /Hr.
