Responsibilities
  • Assists Pharmacy Tech lead in automation processes.
  • Procures and distributes medication orders per physician or pharmacist requests, following established policies and procedures.
  • Maintains adequate stock of medications and supplies according to policies.
  • Maintains logs, records, and documentation accurately, filing them appropriately.
  • Participates in departmental quality improvement activities.
  • Assists with ordering, stocking, and placing orders with wholesalers when the Buyer is unavailable.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED.

Required Licensure/Certifications:

  • Texas State Board of Pharmacy Licensed Pharmacy Technician.
  • Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board).
  • Sterile Compounding Certification.
  • ACPE Nationally Certified.
