Job Description:
The Certified Pharmacy Technician II is responsible for performing tasks involving the dispensing, reconciliation, distribution and charging of drugs. This position assists the pharmacist in maintaining quality pharmacy services in compliance with laws set forth by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy to ensure proper storage, compounding, packaging, labeling, and record keeping associated with drugs. The technician will collaborate and communicate with patients, caregivers, health care professionals and the public.
This position works primarily in the UT Health ambulatory clinics to educate and audit regulatory compliance related to medications.
