Qualifications

• Dispense medications to patients under pharmacy policies.
• Maintain accurate drug inventory and records.
• Update patient profiles and medication histories.
• Active registered technician or intern status as required by the State Board.

Responsibilities

• Fill medication orders and deliver to patient care areas.
• Dispense controlled substances with proper documentation; report discrepancies to the pharmacist.
• Ensure adequate stock of medications and supplies per policies.
• Assist ordering, receiving, unpacking and storing pharmaceuticals and related supplies.
• Deliver orders and medications for returns during rounds.
• Organize and prioritize work and respond to urgent requests.
