Job summary

BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy, part of Elevance Health, is seeking a Pharmacy Tech I for script renewal support in a hybrid role operating from Lake Mary, FL. The position requires basic prescription interpretation, data entry, and resolution of adjudication issues, with in-office 1-2 days per week and virtual work otherwise.

The role supports member services and requires a HS diploma and a valid state license; specialty pharmacy experience is preferred and a training period is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience or equivalent
• Current State Pharmacy Technician license/registration
• Certification or National Certification as applicable per state requirements

Responsibilities

• Interpret and data-enter basic prescriptions and troubleshoot adjudication issues
• Verify member information and input data for pharmacists
• Read, interpret, and transcribe prescriptions and related notes, including ICD-10 codes
• Educate members on formulary rules, medication resources, or assistance programs
• Respond to inquiries from physicians, sales team, and members regarding benefits and formulary details
