BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy is hiring a Pharmacy Tech I for Script Renewal Specialist duties in a Hybrid role at the Lake Mary, FL location. The role focuses on interpreting and inputting basic prescriptions, troubleshooting adjudication issues, and educating members on prescription benefits.

• Verifies member information and inputs data for the pharmacists.
• Ability to accurately read, interpret, and transcribe prescriptions, charts, and lab notes, including ICD-10 codes.
• Educates members on pharmacy rules related to prescriptions and medication resources or assistance programs.
• Provides resolution to grievances and appeals issues.
• Responds to inquiries from physicians, sales team, and members related to formulary and prescription benefits.

Title: Pharmacy Tech I- Script Renewal Specialist - BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy

Location: 3200 Lake Emma Rd. STE 1000, Lake Mary, FL 32746

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Shifts: We will be hiring for multiple shifts to include:

• 8:00AM EST – 4:30PM EST
• 9:00AM EST – 5:30PM EST
• 10:00AM EST – 6:30PM EST
• 11:00AM EST – 7:30PM EST
• 12:30PM EST – 9:00PM EST (Fully Virtual besides training)

Hybrid : This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace.

The Pharmacy Technician I will be responsible for the interpretation and data entry of basic prescriptions, and troubleshooting adjudication issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Requires H.S. diploma or equivalent and minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
• Current State Pharmacy Tech Required.
• Certification or National Certification based on applicable state(s) required.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

• Specialty Pharmacy experience is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience working in a call center environment preferred.
• REMS & Oncology experience highly preferred.
