Job Title: Pharmacy Tech I-Materials/Filling Coordinator
Location: 1127 Bryn Mawr Ave., Ste A, Redlands, CA 92374
Pay Rate: $21/HR (W2)
Duration: 3 months, possibility of extension
Client: CVS Health
Shift Timing: Monday – Thursday 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM; Friday 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM
Requirements: Must have a California Pharmacy Technician License; provide a screenshot of current and active license with resume.
Responsibilities
- Under pharmacist supervision, fill prescription orders accurately and efficiently using the in‑house system.
- Count medications manually and with automated counters (EYECON).
- Assist with scanning, labeling, and reviewing orders for special instructions (e.g., safety caps).
- Adhere to Pharmacy Tech protocol and sign off that guidelines are understood annually.
- Replenish stock, clean and maintain pill‑counting equipment.
- Manage inventory and SOX documentation: purchase and receive inventory, track/reconcile balances, select products and supplies under supervisor direction.
- Handle return goods per SOP, monitor product trends and shortages, and remove short‑dated or expired items.
- Ensure pharmacy pick stations and storage refrigerators are properly stocked and organized.
- Place approved orders for shipping supplies and provide packing supplies to Operations Assistants.
- Assist Inventory CDR with receiving, posting, put‑away, and cycle counting functions.
- Perform packing, shipping, and cleaning duties as an Operations Assistant (10‑20% of the workday).
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of professional experience in a warehouse, purchasing, or inventory environment.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician in retail, hospital, or specialty setting.
- Strong reliability, professionalism, problem‑solving, and team orientation.
- Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Basic typing and data entry skills; ability to learn and use computer applications.
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts in inventory functions.
- Knowledge of standard operating procedures and ability to follow them.
- High school diploma or GED required.
Physical and Other Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50–70 pounds (e.g., medications, ice boxes) occasionally (5–10% of the workday).
- Must be able to stand, walk, and lift for several hours at a time; the position may be physically demanding.
