Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Registration with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy within 60 days of employment as a Certified Pharmacy Technician; provide proof of certification or enrollment for first renewal.
• National certification with a Nationally Accredited Certification Board within 1 year.
• Must learn sterile compounding techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Staff Pharmacists in providing professional Pharmacy services.
• Perform in any functional area of the Department to provide accurate and efficient dispensing of medications.
