Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to be at the front lines, helping customers and building strong patient relationships.

The program emphasizes earning while you learn and aims to guide you toward PTCB certification while maintaining high standards of pharmacy care. As part of Walgreens, you will participate in state- and federal-compliant practice, support pharmacy operations, and develop your skills through hands-on training and updated technology

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred.
• Good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately.
• Good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in accordance with state, federal regulations and company policy.
• Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
