Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to be front and center with customers, building strong patient relationships while supporting the pharmacy team.

The role emphasizes patient-centric care, training opportunities, and advancement toward PTCB certification. Eligible individuals may participate in an earn-while-you-learn program and progress through a structured technician training track.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens work experience preferred.
• Strong math skills for accurate prescriptions.
• Good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and cashier operations as applicable.
• Provide a friendly, courteous customer experience and build relationships with patients.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, unpacking, and stocking of pharmaceuticals.
• Adhere to company policies and the Pharmacy Code of Conduct.
