Job summary

JobRx, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support hospital pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision. The role includes packaging, IV compounding and delivering unit dose cassettes to nursing units, with potential for pharmacist calls as negotiated.

The candidate should have at least 3 years hospital experience with IV compounding, and CA or OR license is required. Education options include high school/GED and an associate degree or technical certificate.

Qualifications

• Pharmaceutical Technician Board certification: Preferred.

Performs packaging, manipulative, repetitive, or other nondiscretionary tasks related to the furnishing of drugs, while assisting and under the direct supervision and control of a pharmacist. Fills and delivers the unit dose cassettes from the patients profile to nursing units.

Requirements

• Variable Shift: the shifts are 4x10, day/evening rotating.
• Set days of week are negotiable.
• We open at 0600 and end at 2100.
• Must have at least 3 years hospital experience with IV compounding experience.
• There can be call for the pharmacists but may be negotiable.
