Responsibilities

Our Float Pharmacy Technician would be available and responsible for working at any and all of the CHI Health Retail Pharmacy locations, including CUMC Bergan, Bellevue, Midlands, Florence, Immanuel, IMC FHC, LaVista, 132nd and Center, Valley View, Lakeside, West Broadway, 161st and Maple, Yankee Hill in Lincoln, Elkhorn, and 42nd and L.

As a Pharmacy Tech at CHI Health, you’ll assist Pharmacists by safely preparing and dispensing medications to help patients recover. You’ll build trust by helping fill and distribute medication unit-dose drugs and performing medication exchanges to designated nursing units. To succeed, you should enjoy learning new concepts, researching in real-time, and providing solutions for patients, always seeking to enhance their experience.

• Retrieval of prescriptions from patients.
• Data and prescription entry.
• Prescription filling.
• Answering phones for customer service, prescription refills, and insurance issues.
• Operating the cash register.
• Adhering to safety, security, and infection control policies.
• Making entries in the medical record within scope and licensure.

Qualifications

Pharmacy Technician License/Registration in Nebraska and Iowa.

Pay Range

$17.04 - $23.43 per hour.
