Saint Francis Hospital in Memphis is seeking a Pharmacy Technician who works under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support dispensing activities, inventory control, sterile product preparation, and automated dispensing cabinet upkeep for patients of all ages.
Responsibilities include accurate labeling, ADC stocking, medication reconciliation, sterile compounding support, and general duties as assigned within a hospital pharmacy environment.
The individual in this position acts under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist and provides assistance in dispensing functions, including purchasing, inventory control of all drug classes, sterile product preparation and associated equipment maintenance, and automated dispensing cabinet equipment and inventory maintenance. Also performs technical duties to maintain pharmaceutical dispensing functions to all neonate, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including inpatients and outpatients.
