Location: Health Services Department, FCI/FSL Elkton- Lisbon, OH.

Job Type: Full-time.

Spectrum Healthcare Resources, a premier healthcare services provider, is seeking a dedicated civilian Pharmacy Tech for a potential opportunity at The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Lisbon, OH. Hours Of Performance

Monday to Friday, 0600–1700 (30 hours per week).

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescription orders.
• Utilize BEMR to process orders.
• Verify prescription orders.
• Answer pharmaceutical questions as needed.
• Distribute medications at the pill line.
• Working knowledge of Pyxis machine.
• Inventory and stocking of pharmacy supplies.
• Check medications for expiration dates.
• Assist and monitor accountability of sharps.
• Assist pharmacist in disposing of expired and confiscated medication.
• Maintain overall cleanliness and orderly operation of the pharmacy area.
• Maintain a safe, clean and secure work area at all times.
• Perform weekly quality assurance protocol maintenance.
