Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions in Hanover, PA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for full-time, on-site duties. The role involves filling prescriptions and preparing IV medications under a Registered Pharmacist's supervision, and entering prescription and billing information into the computer system to support accurate processing.

You will prepackage medications, assist with the final review, coordinate timely medication delivery, and maintain inventory and records while upholding safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
• Comfortable working with computer systems and entering detailed information.
• Ability to follow established procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work the assigned weekday and every-other-weekend schedule.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions and prepare IV medications under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
• Enter prescription and billing information into the computer system to support accurate processing and reimbursement.
• Prepackage medications for dispensing in accordance with pharmacy standards and government regulations.
• Assist Pharmacists with the final review process, including identifying medications for Pharmacist verification and packaging medications after final approval.
• Coordinate accurate and timely medication delivery to customers.
• Receive, organize, and rotate medications and pharmacy supplies.
• Maintain accurate lot numbers and expiration dates.
• Assist with physical inventory and other inventory control activities.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment.
• Check pharmacy equipment for proper calibration, safety, and cleanliness.
• Follow all applicable pharmacy procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Available Shifts

• 1st Shift - Opening 1
  Monday-Friday: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
  Every other weekend: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
• 1st Shift - Opening 2
  Monday-Friday: 11:00 AM-7:30 PM
  Every other weekend: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
