Beverly Hills Cancer Center is seeking a reliable Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Los Angeles. You will prepare IV medications under supervision, dispense drugs from an automated system, and ensure accurate prescription processing.

Experience in specialty pharmacy or IV preparation is preferred. Strong communication skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care are essential to succeed in this role.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Preparation of IV medications (cytotoxic and research medications) under direct supervision of the Pharmacy Supervisor and Pharmacist.
• Dispense the appropriate quantities of drugs from the automated dispensing system and account for waste.
• Process retail prescriptions while ensuring that all information is accurate and complete.
• Assist the Pharmacy Manager with prior authorizations and co-pay assistance programs.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication skills.

EDUCATION CERTIFICATION

California pharmacy technician license.

EXPERIENCE

Strongly prefer experience in a specialty pharmacy or IV preparation experience.
