Job summary

Giant Eagle is seeking a Pharmacy Team Leader-in-training to develop, lead and coach a service-conscious team delivering safe, accurate patient care. You will learn to review metrics, supervise staff, administer immunizations, and drive initiatives that improve patient outcomes and store profitability.

In this role you will mentor new team members, ensure compliance with policies, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize care delivery while advancing company

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory role preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or related field.
• Pharmacy license, immunization certification and CPR certification required.
• Lifting up to 25 pounds.
• No travel required.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze service and business metrics and contribute to action plans to improve outcomes.
• Provide direct supervision, including coaching and feedback to Team Members, following guidelines.
• Administer immunizations and participate in clinical services to optimize patient and company outcomes.
• Assist in mentoring/training new Team Members in the Pharmacy.
• Lead and execute Company initiatives and programs.
• Maintain knowledge of new drugs, therapies, and developments in the pharmacy industry.
• Oversee safe and efficient dispensing of patient orders by following QA policies.
• Model excellent patient care by engaging and counseling patients.
