Job summary

Southern Pharmacy Services, a member of the Guardian family of pharmacies, in Gainesville, Virginia seeks a fill technician to support medication order processing and delivery workflows. This role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and timely task completion in a fast-paced setting.

You will assist in filling orders, track deliveries, and help maintain organized totes and manifests while supporting a high standard of patient care.

Qualifications

• Advanced computer skills and pharmacy systems experience are preferred/required.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist in filling medication orders.
• Prioritize work to ensure prescriptions are filled per delivery schedule.
• Pull labels to keep workflow moving.
• Sort and scan orders to the correct tote.
• Monitor the delivery dashboard to ensure due prescriptions are scanned.
• Return medications to shelf as needed.
• Assist in quarterly physical inventory process.
• Communicate issues to Pharmacy Operations Director.
