Job summary

UC Davis Health is seeking a Technician Supervisor to lead Pharmacy Technicians in the Specialty Pharmacy Hub and report to the SP Hub Manager. The role includes supervision of staff, performance management, training, scheduling, and daily operations oversight within a busy specialty setting.

The position requires California license, recent specialty pharmacy experience, and strong customer service and collaboration skills to support staff and patients.

Qualifications

California Board of Pharmacy Technician License (unrestricted).
Recent specialty pharmacy experience (within 3 years).
3 years of technician work in outpatient or specialty pharmacy.
Experience mentoring staff and coordinating workflows.
Knowledge of insurance formularies and prior authorizations.
Experience with pharmacy systems and clinical software.

Responsibilities

Supervise Pharmacy Technicians and manage timecard activities.
Oversee performance management, training, scheduling, and daily workflows.
Serve as primary contact for supervised staff and support duties as needed.
