Job summary

MU Health Care's Mizzou Pharmacy — Holts Summit is seeking a Pharmacy Supervisor to lead a diverse team while ensuring safe, effective medication use and excellent patient care.

You will oversee operations, mentor staff, manage clinical problems, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. This role requires Missouri pharmacist licensure, PIC registration within six months, and retail pharmacy experience.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensure by the Missouri Board.
• PIC registration by the Missouri Board within six (6) months.
• One (1) year of retail pharmacist experience.
• MTS endorsement within one (1) year; NOI endorsement within one (1) year.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize pharmacy operations to ensure safe, effective medication use.
• Provide clinical problem-solving and patient counseling.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate staff, volunteers, students, and residents.
• Resolve patient safety reports and customer service concerns.
• Drive continuous improvement and resource allocation within the department.
• Communicate with medical professionals and patients about medications to ensure best care.
• Develop and monitor departmental goals and staffing schedules.
