MU Health Care in Holts Summit, Missouri seeks a Community Pharmacy Supervisor to lead a dynamic Mizzou Pharmacy team. You will oversee operations, mentor staff, and ensure medicines are prepared, dispensed and documented accurately while maintaining patient safety and exceptional service.

The role requires Missouri pharmacist licensure, PIC registration within 6 months, and at least one year of retail pharmacist experience, plus endorsements for MTS and NOI within a year.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensure by the Missouri Board of Pharmacy.
• PIC registration by the Missouri Board of Pharmacy within six months.
• One year of retail pharmacist experience.
• MTS endorsement within one year; NOI endorsement within one year.

Responsibilities

• Maintain documentation as required by state and federal law.
• Maintain adequate control of drugs and resolve discrepancies; serve as PIC.
• Assist in staff education, training, and evaluation.
• Supervise and review work of professional and technical personnel.
• Resolve patient safety reports, customer service issues, and patient satisfaction.
• Lead change within the department and manage resources for quality improvement.
• Implement loss prevention, resource allocation and quality control strategies.
• Communicate with staff, medical professionals and patients about medications.
• Develop and monitor departmental goals and programs; optimize operations.
• Coordinate daily staffing schedules and ensure continuity of care.
• Monitor time and attendance per MU Health Care policies.
