Job summary

Benefis Health System in Great Falls, MT, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists with medication preparation, distribution, and inventory management. This role works under the supervision of a registered pharmacist and supports daily operations in the Pharmacy Department.

The ideal candidate will have a Montana Pharmacy Technician license or be registered as an intern, with preferred prior technician experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• License in the State of Montana as Certified Pharmacy Technician, or current license as a Registered Intern with the Montana Board of Pharmacy.
• Pharmacy technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, maintaining patient records.
• Work only under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
• Contributes to the effective operation of the Pharmacy Department.
• Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations.
• Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict.
• Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned.
• Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency.
• Must comply with all Benefis Health System’s organization policies and procedures.

Exemption Wage Non-Exempt Starting Wage $19.90/hourly Actual offered wage is based on applicable experience
