Job summary

Leon Medical Centers, Inc. is seeking a part-time Pharmacy STAT Delivery Driver in Florida to deliver prescriptions and OTC products after hours using a small vehicle. You will organize routes, scan packets with the PT system, and ensure only LMC employees are inside the vehicle while on duty.

Time sheets must be completed each shift and submitted as required. Qualified candidates have at least one year in delivery or customer service, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass

Responsibilities

• Deliver or pick up prescriptions and OTC health care products after hours using a light vehicle (< 26,000 GVW).
• Load and unload as needed.
• Organize stops and route.
• Dispatch to first stop and scan packets with LMC Pharmacy Tracker (PT).
• Ensure only LMC employees are in the vehicle while on the clock.
• Scan stops at patient locations and log times on the timesheet.
• Report issues, accidents, injuries, or wrongdoing to supervisors/director.
• Clock out after route completion and submit timesheet.

Job description

The Pharmacy STAT Delivery Driver drives a light vehicle, such as a truck or van, with a capacity of less than 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), primarily to deliver or pick up prescriptions and over the counter health care products to customers after hours. May load and unload vehicle.

This position is part-time Monday through Saturday

1. Ability to drive own vehicle
2. Organizes stops - route accordingly
3. Dispatches to first stop
4. Scans all packets using the LMC Pharmacy Tracker - PT
5. Ensures no one else is in the vehicle, only LMC Employees are allowed to be inside vehicle while on the clock
6. Scans stop at patient location
7. Ensures while on the clock there is no lost time on personal business
8. Reports to Supervisors and/or Director:
   1. Any issues / concerns
   2. Any accidents / injuries
   3. Suspicion of wrong doing
9. Once route is complete, clock out and note end time on time sheet
10. Submits copy of time sheet Friday night at center or Saturday if working at Doral

WORK EXPERIENCE

Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of one (1) year of delivery or customer service experience, a clean driving record and the ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

EDUCATION

High school diploma or its equivalent is desired.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid State of Florida Driver License Class E.

May require a Valid State of Florida Commercial Driver License Class, A, B or C.
