Job summary

Pharmco in Hallandale, FL is seeking a delivery driver to ensure safe and timely delivery of medications and supplies to customers. Responsibilities include operating vans and other vehicles, planning routes, loading/unloading cargo, and maintaining delivery records.

You will provide excellent customer service, comply with pharmacy policies, and navigate various weather conditions while working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including vans, to transport goods to designated locations
• Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment as necessary
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery confirmations
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns or issues that arise during deliveries
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of yourself, other drivers, and pedestrians
• Working in a fast-paced environment
• Driving in differing weather conditions
• Complying with Pharmacy policies

Skills and Specifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred
• Knowledge of route driving and ability to navigate using GPS or maps
• Ability to operate various types of vehicles, including vans
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
