Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of Pharmacy Certified Technician experience within Kroger
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Completion of company-approved Technician Product Verification, Point of Care, and immunization training programs, with ongoing maintenance as allowed by law
  • Active enrollment in American Heart Association Basic Life Support
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively
  • Self-motivated with good organizational and customer service skills
  • Possession of required national and/or state registration, certification, or licensure as per state law

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in management or supervision
  • Support for health and wellness initiatives
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and adherence to related policies
  • Ability to administer vaccinations, conduct point of care testing, and perform advanced technician duties as permitted by law
  • Assist pharmacists in all responsibilities except those requiring professional judgment
  • Provide excellent customer service and support technician training
  • Lead by example to uphold department standards
  • Support store meetings and workflow management
  • Serve as a pharmacy safety expert, recognizing opportunities for improvement
  • Follow sanitation and safety regulations, reporting unsafe conditions
  • Comply with all regulations, reporting illegal activities as required
  • Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
